Audi Puts Partial Matting into Volume Production

Audi customers will be able to drive even more individualized cars in the future – thanks to partial matting. With the #2 special edition of the Audi Q2, the brand is now using this innovative painting process for the first time in volume production. A fine beam minimally roughens the top layer of paint and creates a matt image. In this way, lettering, logos or photos can be displayed on the painted sheet metal with pixel accuracy and abrasion resistance. Audi is the first automobile manufacturer to offer its customers this kind of individualization.

Decontaminating Soil Using Bioremediation

During oil and gas exploitation in the oil fields, pipelines and storage tanks often crack and contaminate soil as a result. Soil pollution with various oils or diesel fuel also happens during exploration and drilling of new wells. When replacing underground reservoirs at petrol stations, it is necessary to remove the soil around the reservoir. This soil is contaminated with gasoline and diesel fuels. Croatian company CorteCros part of Cortec® Corporation Group, provides environmentally safe bioremediation solutions for these issues with Bionetix products.

PaintExpo 2020 verzeichnet starke Nachfrage nach Standplätzen

Wenige Monate nachdem die siebte Auflage der Weltleitmesse für industrielle Lackiertechnik mit neuen Bestmarken bei Ausstellern und Besuchern sowie Internationalität zu Ende gegangen ist, haben bereits 304 Unternehmen aus 19 Ländern ihre Standfläche für die PaintExpo 2020 fest gebucht. Die belegte Nettoausstellungsfläche beträgt mit 11.536 Quadratmetern schon rund 74 Prozent der Vorveranstaltung. Dies spricht dafür, dass die kommende PaintExpo erneut größer werden wird.
