IVS launches an appeal to the industrial valve production chain to receive scientific and technological contributions by 15th December for the conference sessions of the fourth edition of the fair.

The Call for Papers for the fourth edition of the Industrial Valve Summit 2021 (IVS), the international summit dedicated to industrial valves and flow control solutions scheduled on 26th and 27th May 2021 at the Fiera di Bergamo, has started. It will be possible to propose the memories for the conference sessions until 15th December 2020. The best technical-scientific documents will be introduced by the authors during the conferences and workshops. Also for the this edition, the cycle of conferences will be managed by ValveCampus, that represents the technical-scientific reference partner of IVS. The work will be carried out in synergy with Confindustria Bergamo and Ente Fiera Promoberg. Together with ValveCampus, IVS has developed way to extend the life of the conference's contents and to relaunch the concept of permanent training and innovation. the abstracts will become part of an online platform of shared knowledge, to which all professionals in the sector will have free access. The main theme of the conferenze will be "Lean and Digitise, new challenges for the valve sector". The conferences will focus on 5 topics:

  • Developments and perspectives in safe valve design, materials, manufacturing, coatings and corrosion protection technologies;
  • Valve actuation and control technologies of smart technologies;
  • Reduction of fugitive emissions related to the optimisation of valve sealing;
  • Innovation and emerging technologies and future scenarios;
  • International standards, supplies specification, lean documentation management and remote inspection technologies.
For IVS 2021, the organisers will create an additional pavilion by bringing the exhibition area from 13 thousand to 18 thousand square meters (), a necessary development to accompany the strong growth of the fair, evidenced by the rise in the number of visitors, exhibitors and traffic on communication channels.
