Dürr has completed the previously announced acquisition of the industrial environmental technology business of the US company Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) as of October, 5th, 2018. The transaction creates one of the leading global providers of air pollution and noise control technologies offering companies from all industries a broad range of solutions for tightening emissions regulations worldwide. The addition of the regional offices of the two environmental technology specialists, MEGTEC and Universal, significantly increases Dürr's global presence and provides a strong global platform for serving customers.
