Communication beyond the five senses.

Each company knows the importance of involving and encouraging the active participation of its audience and also knows how difficult it is to capture and maintain their attention in an increasingly information and stimuli-saturated world.

In this context, in addition to a strong, functional and communicative message, technological development comes to our aid, offering cutting-edge solutions to reach people and make ourselves heard.

One of the main trends of 2020 is actually the result of technological development: augmented reality. In fact, the term 'augmented reality' was coined only in the 90s, but the first examples of the implementation of this technology date back to 1962.

Today, it certainly is one of the most interesting tools, with a great communicative potential, capable of stimulating and enriching human sensory perceptions.

At the end of the year we described our path towards becoming a smart magazine, a concept that we are committed to representing by offering global magazines, rich of original contents and with a multi-channel distribution, and by building a community that expands more and more every day.

In 2020 we want to keep giving meaning to this word and in January we outlined different ways to achieve our goal. PaintExpo will give us the opportunity to translate words into facts, through a project that involves augmented reality and interactivity as tools to encourage the active participation of our visitors.

The goal is to demonstrate the communication potential of these technologies and the many ways in which they can also be exploited for editorial and advertising purposes.

Once again, the ipcmLounge will welcome you, offering a meeting and networking place where you can take a break from the hectic trade fair activity.

See you then in Karlsruhe from 21 to 24 April, hall 1, booth 1442.

Time for planning

In January, we also outlined other important projects, first and foremost the services offered by eos which, true to its name, will not only be a publishing house but also a business and marketing consulting, graphic design and event organization agency.

We have also outlined the travel plans for the upcoming months: this year, our magazines will visit around 70 fairs. A similar number of exclusive case studies will be written, following our travels to observe from up close the finishing world, which you will be able to read about in the pages of our magazines.

Finally, the revamping process continues, once again affecting the graphics of our magazines: starting from this year, both ICT - the ipcm supplement dedicated to cleaning technologies - and ipcmIbérica/ipcmLatinoAmérica - the two newspapers dedicated to the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets - will feature a completely renewed look and more and more different contents.
