The 17th edition of the Abrafati Show, which combines the International Coatings Congress and the International Exhibition of Coatings Industry Suppliers, will be held at the São Paulo Expo from 21 to 23 June 2022.
Abrafati Show, the leading event of the paint and coatings sector in Latin America, will be held from 21 to 23 June 2022 at the São Paulo Expo, São Paulo (Brazil) after having been postponed. Originally scheduled for the end of 2021, the organizers took the decision to postpone it to ensure safety and the high-quality level that has always distinguished the event.
“While there has been a rather significant improvement in epidemiological conditions in the past few weeks, uncertainties and insecurity still loomed over all audiences,” Abrafati executive president Luiz Cornacchioni explains. “We were permanently at work assessing scenarios and using all efforts to get alternative dates. A few days ago, a postponement opportunity arose, and we decided to conduct a broad inquiry with exhibitors and potential visitors, which showed us the best way to go would really be to move the show to June.”
In addition to the increased safety in terms of health and vaccination concerns, exhibitors will have more time to take care of all preparations for their participation. Another important benefit is that the relaxation of the restrictions currently in place will allow visitors from abroad to participate.
The Abrafati Show will allow the market - which is experiencing substantial expansion right now - to learn about and discuss key innovations in raw materials, formulations, processes and technologies in the paints and coatings industry, as well as the quality, performance, sustainability and functionality of paints developed for the most varied of applications. In addition, it will give the opportunity to meet all the main professionals in the sector.
“More than ever before, with that much-awaited reunion, the Abrafati Show will be an ideal occasion to create the collaborative environment that is key to the industry. Suppliers and manufacturers will be connected at the show to exchange ideas, discuss projects, negotiate partnerships and do so many other things together, with a view to understanding and meeting new requirements from paint users, taking on the challenges posed by increasingly rapid changes, and paving the way for innovation and sustainability,” Luiz Cornacchioni concludes.
