What should have been the PaintExpo month.
April has always been by right the month dedicated to PaintExpo, which should have been held from the 21st to the 24th.
If we imagine a Sliding Doors scenario - the '98 film with Gwyneth Paltrow - right now I would be describing one of the most awaited appointments for the finishing sector, talking about the interesting networking opportunities and technological innovations that we would have presented at the fair.
Unfortunately all this did not happen. But just as in the film the two stories end up merging into one, also in this case we will have the opportunity to really experience all of this from October 12-15, in Karlsruhe, to attend what we are sure will be the most crucial event for the industry.
In the meantime, however, we have not sat idly by. As we updated our agenda, we published the first issue of the year of Protective Coatings, the magazine dedicated to corrosion control and prevention technologies in the heavy industry.
This issue was conceived to be distributed in several fairs which have however been cancelled. But despite it being in the eye of the Covid-19 cyclone, this issue turned out to be a collection of top-notch articles on several technological innovations, including what is believed to be the largest single application of graphene in the world on a cargo vessel's hull.
As mentioned last month, we also worked on expanding our digital offer. Now, those interested in promoting their technologies and innovations can count on two new advertising formats in our monthly newsletter: the AdvertNews and a second Advertorial Large. See the updated mediakit to find out more.
In April we also sanitized the editorial office, purchased masks and sanitizing gel for everyone and informed about the dangers and rules to be kept in the office to ensure everyone's safety. Now we are ready to return safely to our office to start working on the May issues of our magazines. It will be for sure a month very rich in contents, with 4 issues bound to be published: the ipcm® automotive special, with its supplement ICT, dedicated to industrial cleaning technologies; Ibérica and LatinoAmérica.
