Axalta won another R&D Award by presenting Imron™, an innovative and sustainable solution for the coatings industry.
The international coatings manufacturer Axalta has recently been honoured with an R&D 100 award in the Mechanical and Materials category thanks to Imron™, a coating technology capable of delivering sustainability benefits and improving the production cycle time for the transportation market.
The R&D 100 Awards programme has been recognising revolutionary technologies for sixty years, selecting the best 100 within the 500 leading companies identified by Fortune. The winner of the 2023 edition will be celebrated during the awards dinner on 16th November 2023 in San Diego, (U.S.A.)
Imron™ consists of a polyurethane enamel used in the coatings industry. It possesses excellent durability levels and ensures good performance on topcoats and clearcoats as well as great resistance against corrosion, chemicals and weathering.
