CIRCOR’s Chameleon pump will enhance paint and coating applications with precision and adaptability.

CIRCOR will showcase its innovative Chameleon Pump at European Coatings Show 2025. Designed specifically for the paints and coatings industry, this cutting-edge pump reduces downtime by offering rapid and effective flushability, enabling quick transitions between different paint colours and formulations.

Equipped with rotary-spur gears, the Chameleon Pump ensures smooth, continuous flow while eliminating the need for check valves, accumulators, and complex hydraulic systems that can create operational challenges and incur additional costs. The Chameleon Pump also features an integrated active flowmeter, providing closed-loop speed control for precise components and ensuring accurate flow regulation without the need for a secondary flowmeter. This integration simplifies system design and maintains stable, repeatable flow control, even in the face of temperature, viscosity, and pressure fluctuations.

Designed for minimal maintenance, the Chameleon Pump incorporates a leak-free triple lip-seal system for redundant sealing, reducing upkeep compared to traditional packing or face seals. It also offers a double seal arrangement with a barrier fluid reservoir, ideal for isocyanate applications, ensuring a safer and cleaner operational environment. Despite its compact size of just 2.5" x 1.9" and a weight of 2 to 2.5 pounds, the Zenith Chameleon Pump delivers full-size power without compromising performance. This breakthrough technology is set to optimize material handling, offering precision and flexibility for the diverse demands of paint and coating applications.
