In the 11^th issue of ipcm^®_Protective Coatings, we present the first of a long series of articles about polyurea, a coating material that is gaining new market shares, especially in the infrastructure sector. We also deal with the film galvanising process with a product that debuts on the Italian market and that can solve many problems posed by the hot-dip galvanising technique. Speaking of zinc, we also present a new series of primers able to activate more zinc in a coating, thus ensuring a significantly improved galvanic effect. Finally, we will deal with the long-standing debate on the use of water-based coatings in the corrosion protection industry with an in-depth analysis on a complete range of water-based silicone products for high temperatures.
