A few days after the conclusion of the successful 2022 edition of PaintExpo, the date of the next one was announced.
PaintExpo ended on April 29, 2022 and both exhibitors and visitors were delighted to have attended the world's leading trade fair for industrial coating technology. After a four-year hiatus due to Covid, the restart was a great success and the PaintExpo team was able to deliver a compelling event.
“We are very satisfied with the huge response PaintExpo has received from both national and international exhibitors and visitors. Our exhibitors have made this event into a global showcase of industrial coating technology with their attractive stands and their innovations and services. The benchmark is set for coming events. PaintExpo is very well positioned in Karlsruhe and we intend to further develop it in the long-term,” stated Markus Geisenberger, the managing director of Leipziger Messe.
High proportion of international visitors
During the 2022 edition, the event welcomed 9,180 visitors from 57 countries and around 430 exhibitors from 27 countries
presented numerous ground-breaking innovations, intelligent developments and specialised services. The range of products and services covered the entire spectrum of the industry, from surface treatment, coatings and painting systems to final quality assurance.
Current topics such as sustainability in the use of resources, increased efficiency and, of course, the many product premieres were particularly in the focus of the visitors, who were interested in all the different kinds of industrial coating solutions - from wet painting and powder coating to coil coating.
“This concept ensures the trade fair remains the pivotal platform for all projects involving industrial coating. Whatever project you are working on, here, you can meet all the necessary manufacturers and service providers in one place and in a short space of time. Trade fair participants made use of precisely this opportunity. On the stands, new business partnerships were formed, partners discussed new projects and even contracts were signed,” commented Ivonne Simons, the Project Director of PaintExpo.
Very positive conclusions
The exhibitors drew a positive conclusion from their participation in the fair: 95% of them praised the high quality of business contacts and the professional credentials of the visitors, while 94% reported that the trade fair had been a success. As a matter of fact, promising new customer contacts and concrete project agreements dominated the discussions at the exhibition stands. In some cases, orders were even placed directly on site.
Visitor quality and visitor satisfaction were also remarkable. According to a survey, the number of top decision-makers as well as professionals and managers was very high. Over 90% are planning to come back to the next edition of PaintExpo, that will take place from 9 to 12 April 2024 as usual at Messe Karlsruhe, Germany.
