PPG has been included in the “2022 America’s Most Just Companies” list for its CSR efforts.
PPG has recently announced that it has been included in the “2022 America’s Most Just Companies”
list, a ranking managed by JUST Capital that selects the largest publicly traded companies in the United States that perform better on the issues prioritised by citizens.
The list recognised the companies across 20 different business categories such as environmental performance, diversity and inclusion, community engagement, ethics, human rights, health and safety and liveable wages.
The company scored an overall improvement of 274 spots since 2020, outperforming the industry average in almost all categories. PPG ranked 1st in transparent communication, 2nd
for community engagement and received high marks also for environmental and product sustainability.

JUST Capital’s annual list ranks around 1,000 public U.S. companies from the Russell 1000 Index, that represents more than 90% of the U.S. stock market value. The evaluated issues are selected from comprehensive quantitative surveys and qualitative focus groups related to the public attitudes toward corporate social responsibility.
