The Teknos Supply Chain function will enable end-to-end leadership of the whole supply chain.
At the beginning of December 2022, Teknos has announced the creation of the new function Supply Chain, formed through the integration of the Group Operations and Group Procurement ones. The company has then appointed Sameli Hakola as the new chief officer.
Hakola will however continue to be a member of the Teknos Management Team (TMT), while reporting on his new role to the CEO Paula Salastie. Fredrik Calenius, on the other hand, will remain the head of procurement, reporting to Hakola.
The newly-formed Supply Chain function of Teknos will enable end-to-end leadership of the whole supply chain, further enhancing decision-making, time to execution, end-to-end process optimisation and cost efficiency.
“This change will help us fulfil our vision to be a sustainable coating solutions provider close to customers and further develop our customer-centric supply chain operating model. All to make sure we make the world last longer,” has stated Salastie.
