The new eco-friendly and recyclable metallised coatings portfolio of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES can be applied with 70% less energy.
The global provider of innovative production technologies SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES has recently announced that it has introduced new and sustainable metallised finishes for PET plastics. The latest development of the company differs from the traditional solutions available, since it does not employ non-recyclable materials or harmful substances.
As a matter of fact, the coatings have passed key recyclability tests, including metal detection and NIR resin identification, conducted by certified facilities belonging to the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).
These new coatings allow manufacturers to develop a more sustainable metallising process, as it requires less energy and emits zero VOCs, resulting in over 70% energy reduction and cost savings. Furthermore, the metallising equipment and technology produced by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES are designed to be Onshore-ready, offering additional environmental benefits.
