The supplement of ipcm® 27 dedicated to the industrial cleaning features many examples of successful application of both solvent-based and aqueous cleaning technologies and includes a section dedicated to the innovations on show at the upcoming parts2clean 2014 (Stuttgart, June 24-26).
This issue of ICT – a special issue for the parts2clean trade fair, the most important exhibition for the industrial cleaning field at the European level – contains many examples of successful application of both solvent-based and aqueous cleaning technologies, each with its own advantages depending on the type, the material, the contamination level and the intended use of parts. Moreover, one of these case studies also presents a synergy between detergent and solvent-based cleaning technologies, used on the same components, one after the other, to achieve the required quality, demonstrating that the supposed contrast between these two cleaning systems exists only on paper.
