WEG will invest around $14 million to expand its industrial liquid paints production capacity.
The multinational company WEG has recently announced an investment of 70 million Brazilian real (around $14 million) in order to expand the production capacity of industrial liquid coatings for the Brazilian market by 2024. The investment includes the construction of a new manufacturing unit that is expected to increase the current production capacity by approximately 70% as well as a 6,400 m² distribution and logistics centre, designed to meet the growing needs of the coming years.
“These investments are important for the growth of WEG's industrial paint business in the country, as they significantly expand our production and logistics capacity to meet the growing demand for more efficient and sustainable industrial paints,” has declared Rafael Torezan, WEG Industrial Paints Managing Director.
The investment will be affected the industrial park of Guaramirim city (Santa Catarina), where the company already produces liquid and powder paints, resins and electro-insulating varnishes for the industrial and infrastructure segments.
