H2O GmbH presents on the powder symposium in Dresden.
Quality requirements in painting pre-treatment keep increasing. Nevertheless production can be profitable. H2O GmbH explains how on the 25th Powder Symposium from January 29th to 30th in the Westin Bellevue Hotel in Dresden (Germany).
The presentation program, "Surface – Pre-Treatment and Preparation", includes an interesting lecture on "recycling of spent rinsing water – optimized distillate quality for increased process reliability", held by Peter Demarez, head of H2O's application center for zero liquid discharge technology.
Leading companies already rely on vacuum evaporators for the processing of spent rinsing water. As the purified water can be recycled to the production process, companies can save up to 98% disposal cost. Patented H2O technologies set benchmarks regarding quality of the purified water, allowing better cleaning results in the rinses. An example is the Destcontrol pH regulating technology. The pH is measured in the distillate, respective adjustments are done right away in the evaporator sump. Thus the pH of the purified water is very stable.
