Arkema has been awarded for its commitment and performances in the environmental and social dimensions.
For the third consecutive year, Arkema is ranked among the top-performing companies in the ‘Chemicals’ category, reaching a score of 83 out of 100 in Standard & Poor's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Arkema has placed itself in the 3rd position of the 2022 Dow Jones Sustainability Index World and maintained the second place in the DJSI Europe.
The globally recognised rankings confirm the commitment and performances of Arkema in the environmental and social dimensions, as well as in the economic and governance matters. As a matter of fact, the company has been awarded for the successful analysis and identification of material challenges, the product and water risk management, its social and environmental reporting and also the occupational health and safety management.

Arkema has set ambitious target based on an SBT approach to reduce its scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and its scope 3 emissions by 46% by 2030. In addition, last July the company raised its level of commitment to 1.5° C.
