The CLARITY™digital platform developed by Clariant has been adopted by more 380 active catalysts users to optimise efficiency, sustainability and safety.
The sustainability-focused manufacturer of specialty chemicals Clariant has recently announced that its digital service platform CLARITY™ has been favourably adopted by more than eighty plants, serving around four-hundred users in almost thirty countries worldwide.
“Our digital service portal CLARITY together with the know-how of the Applied Catalyst Technology (ACT) team brings customer experience to a brand-new level. We are uniquely positioned to provide innovative and optimised solutions for our customers improving the way we interact. As competition continues to grow across industries, our state-of-the-art tools and data-driven insights will help our customers to stay ahead in their fields,” has stated Lorena Oviol, the head of the Applied Catalyst Technology division of Clariant.
CLARITY is a cloud-based platform that provides customers full-time access to their real-time performance data such as product yield and feedstock consumption, as well as access to advanced visualisation, analysis and monitoring tools for all Clariant catalyst applications, allowing end-to-end encrypted data sharing. The user interface also enables clients to directly connect with the experts of the company, who can provide live technical exchange and guidance.
“CLARITY helps us to optimise processes by providing valuable insights for operators and plant engineers through well-organised and customisable dashboards covering all aspects of performance. Compared to cumbersome data sharing via spreadsheets, the automated upload of our data greatly accelerates evaluation,” has commented Dominic Riedel, the process manager of
BASF, lauding the implementation of the platform as a digital lighthouse project at a steam cracker unit in Ludwigshafen (Germany).
