The latest colour trend report RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+ will contain 15 tones which are highly relevant for architectural and industrial applications.
The international company Covestro has recently announced a cooperation with RAL to present the new colour trend report RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+, an important guide for several industries from the surface treatment sector. The theme of this year is CARE + COLLABORATE, which includes a 15-part colour palette for architectural and industrial applications.
The plastic polycarbonate of Covestro has been coloured in the new shades for the fourth year in a row by the colour specialists of the Color and Design Centers. The colour palette of this year includes the haptic experience RAL Trendbox, where Covestro, Tiger Coatings, Object Carpet and Gabriel are the official partner with a total of 75 material samples. Whether it is mood boards or concept visualisations, the elements of the Trendbox offer many design options based on colour standards.
"Covestro is not only a pioneer in the research and development of material technologies, but also has strong colour and design teams worldwide. Our collaboration with RAL highlights the precision that our polycarbonate materials offer for color matching and the leading expertise of our color and CMF experts. Together, we are setting standards,” has stated Christopher Stillings, Vice President and Global Head of Color & Design in the Engineering Plastics segment of Covestro.
All 15 trend colours of the RAL Trendbox are available as D6 single sheets, plastic colour samples, powder-coated metal layers and designed textile surfaces or they can alternatively be combined with each other. In addition, the Italian, Thai, Indian and Chinese Covestro’s Color and Design Centers cooperated with RAL in order to ensure an accurate and fast colour matching. Covestro also uses the RAL colour codes in its CMF trend reports for the automotive, electronics and appliance industries.
"RAL offers professional colour charts for the industrial design sector, which requires the highest level of colour accuracy. With the color matrix and RAL Trendbox, we offer designers a comprehensive colour and material approach as part of our continued collaboration. The color effects between the different material types are precisely coordinated by RAL and the cooperation partners,” has concluded Markus Frentrop, Global Head of RAL Colours.
