Dörken will show functional coatings that ensure the durable, reliable and economical use of wind turbine at WindEnergy Hamburg.
The global manufacturer of corrosion protection solutions Dörken
has recently announced the various solutions that it will present at the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair, an international event dedicated to the wind industry that will take place from 24th to 27th September 2024 at the Hamburg Messe in Hamburg (Germany).
The edition will be focused on renewable energy generation in both the onshore and offshore sectors, allowing representatives along the entire value chain to showcase their latest innovations. The participants will then be able to discover countless products and services: in addition to turbines and rotor blades, the fields covered include mechanical and electrical components, logistics, safety, financing and insurance, innovative materials and smart energy.
Since components in the wind industry are exposed to high climatic stresses and mechanical loads, at WindEnergy Hamburg Dörken will present functional coatings that ensure the durable, reliable and economical use of wind turbine. In fact, the zinc flake coatings from the company offer cathodic corrosion protection for various parts: even bulky workpieces such as brake disks and roller bearings can be effectively protected through a room temperature curing solution.
“We cannot wait to welcome people who are interested in our products. We look forward to answering any questions about our basecoats and topcoats and we are also happy to answer any concerns you may have about the proposed PFAS ban,” has stated René Rother, the manager of the Industrial Coatings division at Dörken. “Everyone is cordially invited to visit us for a professional exchange over a cool drink!”
The fair will host more than 1,500 companies coming from 40 countries and over 40,000 participants from 100 nations. Dörken will be at the booth 223, in hall B7.
