The most important coatings event of the year is approaching: The PaintExpo 2014 will be held from 8 to 11 April 2014 in Karlsruhe, Germany. This year, the internationally renowned producers of industrial coatings Ecopolifix, Rembrandtin, Rembrandtin Powder Coating will present their concentrated competence in the field of liquid and powder coatings at their joint booth 2428 in Hall 2.
Powder coating systems of Ecopolifix and Rembrandtin Powder Coating offer completely new perspectives for functional coatings of the future. Depending on the application, today's coatings can be resistant to chemicals, antibacterial, conductive, thinlayered, non‐slip, textured, metallic, or pearlescent.
The number of variations is almost unlimited. In‐house developers create system solutions tailored specifically to customers' demands. In in‐house R&D laboratories, solutions are fine‐tuned in close cooperation with customers and tested for the application in practice.
Together, the companies produce 15,000 tons of powder coatings per year in many special color shades and with special mechanical and optical properties. In addition Ecopolifix can supply a very wide range of stock products, more than 600 with indoor and outdoor Qualicoat quality in all RAL colours and gloss level in 2 day time.
The Austrian companies Rembrandtin and Rembrandtin Oberösterreich are among the leading producers of specialty coatings for industrial applications – not only in Europe. The products are used worldwide: The efficiency of the electromagnetic parts of the magnetic levitation train in Shanghai, for example, is enhanced by a special coating of Rembrandtin. Rembrandtin protective systems protect the Vienna Ferris Wheel as well as overpass bridges everywhere in Europe from corrosion.
This success is based on dedicated research and development – with special focus on sustainability and environment protection – to which about a quarter of the employees commit themselves every day. At the PaintExpo, the companies present selected highlights from some of their core sectors:
- Thermodur 600 PURE 2K – our fumeless, waterborne coating resistant to temperatures of up to 600°C.
- 160 new smooth‐matt trend colors for polyester powder coatings with excellent leveling properties and perfect gloss level formation.
- Amazing effects – unique and innovative design ideas (application effects, colors, premium effects,
and technical effects).
As a special highlight, visitors have the chance to challenge Table Football World Champion Lilly Andres in a match and to participate in the raffle for a new iPad Air. She is considered to be an exceptional talent and enchants the audience with her charisma. She won the first world championship with the German National Team in 2010. In 2012, the German National Team with Lilly as captain managed to win another world championship, and in 2013 they won the third world championship title – the second in a row – a historic victory because never before had a country managed to defend the world championship title. In addition, Lilly together with the women's team of the Bears Berlin won the much wanted new title of the first European Champions Cup for women. At the Paint Expo, the professional accepts all challenges and offers tips and tricks about table football.
