The new laboratory for the coatings and construction industries of IMCD will serve customers throughout North America.
The international supplier of specialty chemicals and ingredients IMCD has recently announced that it has completed the relocation of its Coatings & Construction Laboratory, now located in Philadelphia (U.S.A.).
The newly-opened site will expand the technical capabilities of the company, that will now include the construction sector to its existing offerings of industrial coatings, decorative paints and adhesives for the North American market. In addition, the facility will provide training accommodations for the commercial team of IMDC as well as customer seminars and academies.
The state-of-the-art laboratory delivers coast-to-coast formulation support for a wide range of coatings and construction applications. Key equipment include rheometer, optical tensiometer, bubble pressure tensiometer, Taber abrasion, spray booth and flexural and compressive testing machine.
