European Coatings Show 2025 will take place from 25th to 27th
March 2025, where Imerys will showcase its innovative, market-driven solutions designed to meet the evolving sustainability needs of the paints and coatings industry.
At European Coatings Show 2025, Imerys will highlight its range of sustainable solutions for the paints and coatings sectors, as well as the construction industry.
The construction industry is increasingly pressured to adopt sustainable practices in response to stricter environmental regulations and the rising demand for energy-efficient and eco-friendly materials. With construction accounting for nearly 37% of global energy-related carbon emissions, the sector is focused on minimising its environmental impact, reducing waste, and improving resource efficiency while meeting the expectations of customers and stakeholders.
Sustainability will take center stage at Imerys' booth during ECS 2025, where the company will showcase its sustainable products, processes, and contributions to the circular economy. Imerys will also present several exciting new innovations aimed at enhancing the industry’s sustainability.
“Imerys is uniquely positioned to offer the most comprehensive range of sustainable solutions for paint manufacturers. By leveraging our extensive multimineral portfolio and decades of expertise, we invest in research and innovation to develop transformative solutions that deliver superior quality while optimising sustainability and cost-effectiveness,” has stated Armando Villasmil, Vice-President, Performance Minerals (Plastics, Paints, Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Rubber EMEA and APAC).
At ECS 2025, Imerys will present several sustainable products, including:
- Exterior Paints: the new ImprUV™ grade, designed to maximize UV durability, improving color stability and reducing chalking.
- Interior Paints: ECOPAQ, a range of customized solutions for optimal opacity in high-quality paints with the lowest TiO2 levels.
- ETICS & Renders: a variety of mica, talc, and leucophyllite mineral solutions, including the Mica-MU™ 101, designed to prevent cracking and enhance barrier properties.
Imerys’ commitment to sustainability is supported by the SustainAgility Solutions Assessment (SSA), a program that evaluates the environmental and social impact of its products.
"Through SSA, we offer our customers reliable data, helping them select the best solutions to meet their sustainability goals," has added Jérôme de Lievre, Vice-President, Building & Infrastructure at Imerys.
