Kenosistec is pleased to announce the inauguration of the new Coating Center and Innovation Hub
at its headquarters in Casarile (Milan, Lombardy, Italy). This new hub represents an important step forward for research, development and production, offering significant opportunities for the region, employment and innovation.
At the heart of the Innovation Hub is Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technology, an advanced, 100% sustainable finishing solution that is revolutionising the world of surfaces. PVD makes it possible to create thin metallic coatings on various materials, improving their aesthetics, durability and functional performance. Thanks to its versatility, it has applications in many sectors, from industrial design to semiconductors, from bathroom furnishings to nuclear power and future hydrogen applications.
The inauguration will be held on 27th January 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the headquarters of Kenosistec Srl in Via Leonardo Da Vinci 19, Casarile.

- Presentation of the Coating Centre and the opportunities offered by PVD, with focus on the benefits for industry, society and the environment.
- Guided tour of the plant and the Coating Center, to discover state-of-the-art production processes.
- Talk by X-Nano and Flow-nano: X-Nano develops nanotechnologies, processes and nanomaterials for the energy transition, with applications in the hydrogen, nuclear and advanced battery sectors. Flow-nano is X-Nano's spin-off, focused on the production of nanostructured electrodes for redox flow batteries, with the aim of improving performance and reducing costs, and promoting the integration of renewable energies.
