The newly-developed emulsion polymers from Mallard Creek can increase blending options and enable optimal water resistance to improve membrane performance.
Mallard Creek Polymers, a functional coatings supplier, has recently launched three new emulsion polymers: BarrierPro 4553, BarrierPro 4554 and BarrierPro 4556
- increasing blending options to improve membrane system performance as well as enabling optimal water resistance and flexibility in cold temperatures.
BarrierPro is designed for use in liquid applied membranes and offers several advantages over superior adhesion:
- Good adhesion to various substrates, ensuring reliable protection against water infiltration;
- Excellent flexibility of the membranes, allows them to adapt to substrate movements and temperature fluctuations without compromising their integrity;
- High water resistance, acting as an effective barrier against moisture penetration;
- Crack bridging properties, making them suitable for a wide range of applications;
- Ability to customise membrane properties to meet specific performance requirements.
