During the recent PainExpo event that was held in Germany, Europolveri presented its new "ArchitecturalLignum" sample range part of the series of products for "powder on powder" technology applications. The new sample range integrates the existing one devised for sublichromic technology applications and includes test plates with dimensions that allow optimal visibility and perception of the wood grain effect.
This innovative series of "ArchitecturalLignum" polyester based powder coatings without TGIC has been devised for "powder on powder" application with the following phases according to the type of plant:
For horizontal in line plants:
Apply the powder coating, with a thickness of 70-90 microns.
Cure the applied coating at 110-120°C (15 - 20 minutes).
Apply the wood grain powder coating.
Standard polymerization 190-200°C (15 - 20 minutes).
For vertical in line plants:
Apply the powder coating, with a thickness of 70-90 microns.
Cure the applied coating at 110-120° C (15 - 20 minutes) or by means of infrared rays for 4-6 minutes.
Apply the wood grain powder coating.
Define the wood grain by means of rollers and brushes.
Standard polymerization 190-200° C (15 - 20 minutes).
The "ArchitecturalLignum" powder coatings guarantee designers and final users a wide range of advantages, such as:
