Luc van Ravenstein is the new Chief Executive Officer of Elementis

Luc van Ravenstein, the newly appointed CEO of Elementis, will lead the company’s efforts to drive innovation, growth, and efficiency in the global paints and coatings market.

Elementis has announced that Luc van Ravenstein will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and join the Board of the Company on 29th April 2025 - succeeding Paul Waterman.

Luc van Ravenstein is a highly respected leader with a proven track record of driving innovation, growth, and efficiency throughout his 13-year tenure at Elementis. For the past seven years, he has led the company's largest business segment, Performance Specialties (formerly Coatings), spearheading its transformation into a top-tier specialty additives business with a stronger product portfolio and significantly improved margins. Before that, Luc spent six years leading the Personal Care segment, overseeing a period of substantial growth. Prior to joining Elementis, he held various leadership roles at Croda International plc.
