Innovation in the ordinary to achieve the extraordinary.

In this issue of ipcm we will continue to deal with both conventional and nanotechnology pre-treatment processes and their key role in surface treatment cycles in order to ensure quality, presenting two case studies about companies that have focussed precisely on pre-treatment to achieve success with their products.

We will also deal with corrosion protection: super durable coatings, new raw materials for anti-corrosion paints based on zinc powder, fluoropolymer coatings for high-value infrastructure.

Finally, we will present the successful case of an Italian company, a world leader in the integrated water resources management field that maximised the energy, production and environmental efficiency of its finishing processes thanks to the design skills and expertise of a coating plant engineering firm and to a high automation level reached following 4.0 principles.
