Syensqo presents its latest range of high-performance and sustainable coatings at the European Coatings Show (ECS) 2025 in Nuremberg (Germany). These innovations are designed to help coating formulators meet demanding requirements while enabling safer, more eco-friendly formulations without compromising on performance.

Syensqo introduces food-contact-approved, label-free solutions that are free from dioxane and fluorosurfactants for architectural and industrial paints. A key innovation in this category is Rhodoline® HBR, a fluorosurfactant-free substrate wetting agent for waterborne coatings. This additive provides exceptional hot block resistance (HBR) – the ability to resist softening or sticking under high temperatures or pressure. Additionally, it offers excellent dirt pick-up and stain resistance, making it an ideal choice for more sustainable and safer formulations.
Syensqo’s commitment to supporting business growth through decarbonisation is evident in its low-carbon footprint solutions and partially biobased products. The Rhodiasolv® range of green solvents is designed to deliver sustainable performance across a wide range of applications. Made from circular raw materials, these solvents offer a lower environmental impact while maintaining high performance and compliance with global regulations. They help ensure a safer, more sustainable future for both consumers and businesses.
Moreover, Rhodoline® 6100, a new wetting and dispersing agent, enhances pigment paste formulations. This additive provides strong tinting power, excellent color consistency, and long-lasting stability. With 33% biobased materials, it is low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), free from alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs), and compatible with both solvent-borne alkyds and water-based systems.
