AMPP Launches New Cathodic Protection Field Techniques Course

The new Cathodic Protection Field Techniques course of AMPP combines classroom learning with practical field training, offering 16 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) upon completion.

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance AMPP, has introduced its latest educational program: Cathodic Protection (CP) Field Techniques. This immersive, two-day course is designed to equip professionals with essential skills in corrosion testing and field techniques.

The course offers a solid foundation for building or advancing a career in cathodic protection. Participants will receive a balanced mix of classroom instruction and hands-on training in a controlled field environment.

Moreover, the course offers practical field experience, where participants will receive hands-on training using in-ground pipelines, testing stations, and other critical equipment. Through comprehensive learning objectives, attendees will develop a range of applicable skills, from operating mustimeters to performing soil resistivity tests. In addition, completing the course grants 16 Professional Development Hours (PDHs), supporting professionals in maintaining their certifications and advancing their careers.
