The upgraded version of the benchtop spectrophotometer of BYK combines several measurement methods in one instrument.
BYK has presented its most recent innovation in colour measurement: the new color2view, an upgraded version of its benchtop spectrophotometer that combines several measurement methods in one instrument to allow the objective evaluation of 45°c: 0° colour, 20°/ 60° gloss and lightfastness measurement to clearly differentiate medium to high gloss samples and fluorescence quantification to predict long term colour stability
The new color2view features a compact and lightweight design (32 mm fixed aperture and 22 mm measuring spot) with an integrated standard storage usable as front or top loader to best suit different sample sizes, a large high-tech LEDs colour-touch-display with a camera to live-preview measurement spot to avoid false readings and an icon-based navigation that make handling and operation quick and easy.
In order to offer clients the highest technical performances and a seamless colour management
with the digital standard exchange between benchtop and portable instrument without any extra profiling, it also includes the professional data analysis software smart-chart, allowing to save colour data in a database for documentation and trend analysis, ensuring a proactive approach to continuously optimise colour harmony.
