CEPE announces the first update of its LCI database.
Following its original launch in July 2013, CEPE announces the first update of its LCI database.
This version includes new raw materials like pigments and tap water, bringing the database to the level of completeness it was originally meant to be.
CEPE members will find around 30 new raw materials which will enable them to calculate footprints closer to their actual formulations - allowing them to make decisions based on good quality data.
The CEPE Ecofootprint tool has also been updated to include these new raw materials. In its first running year, over 140 persons have registered as users of the Tool.
The database will be updated regularly in the future.
