The new director holds two bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and materials sciences from the Henri Poincaré University of Nancy (France) and also earned a master’s degree in wood sciences as well as a doctorate in the field of thermosetting adhesives. In addition, she speaks English, French, Dutch and German.
She began her career as a development chemist with Bostik, where she rose to the level of technical business development manager before moving to positions of increasing responsibility with OMNOVA and Addmaster UK Ltd. More recently, Garnier served as director of corporate development in Europe for Moleaer Inc., a developer of industrial-scale nanobubble technology.
“It is a great honour to be joining the ChemQuest team of specialty chemicals and materials experts. I am excited to help strengthen and expand the group’s international presence in Europe and the UK by applying the skills I’ve learned over the past 20+ years working in technical, innovative, and challenging markets. I look forward to helping clients identify new markets and opportunities, strategically and profitably grow, and develop their businesses,” has added Garnier.
