The Indonesia Marine & Offshore Expo (IMOX) has been held from 31st
July to 2nd August 2024.
The anti-corrosion solutions provider Cortec® has successfully attended the Indonesia Marine & Offshore Expo (IMOX) in Batam (Indonesia), with a network of local distributors representing the company.
The Cortec stand was one of the busiest during the exhibition, as the city of Batam is hot and humid all year round, creating a perfect incubator for corrosion. In fact, the coastal environment and free trade zones make it home to many shipyards, FPSO construction sites and manufacturing plants in need of corrosion solutions.
In addition, Cortec visited the Batam branch of a well-known international manufacturing company to provide advice on solving corrosion problems for goods stored outdoors near the ocean. The ultimate goal is to enhance the storage plan for outdoor assets and to keep components ready to be put on the assembly line at a moment's notice.
