Fenix Group has expanded its portfolio of specialty and high-performance coatings with the acquisition of TCI Coatings.
Fenix Group has announced the acquisition of all business assets of TCI Coatings, manufacturer of specialty and high-performance coatings for industrial applications that serves Texas and the surrounding states. Founded in 1959 by Charles Horton, the Texan company headquartered in Lubbock has always supported its customer partners through innovation, quality and customer services.
Fenix’s portfolio now includes specialty high-performance coatings and concrete and decorative solutions, as well as brands that allow the company to expand its manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes.
“TCI fits our strategic objective of acquiring strong brands, offering premium quality products, in areas where we are either not currently represented or are under-represented. TCI allows us to expand our manufacturing and warehousing footprint in a region we consider very attractive and augments our already strong product portfolio for the Industrial market and OEMs. We are extremely excited about TCI joining the Fenix family of brands,” stated Ray Torres, CEO of Fenix Group.
