The new CE-certified gel timers of GARDCO are designed to improve accuracy and consistency of gelling tests for paints, coatings and resins.
Gardco, a supplier of physical testing and inspection instruments for paint and coatings, has introduces its brand-new line of certified GARDCO precision gel timers.
GARDCO gel timers are available in standard or heated models, with or without certification. The certified models have been thoroughly tested and calibrated to meet industry standards, and each comes with a factory certificate verifying the reliable performance of the gel timer in research, development and production environments.
These gel timers are CE-certified and are designed to improve the accuracy and consistency of gelling tests on a wide range of materials, including paints, coatings and resins for easy operation, offering good accuracy for room temperature and high temperature testing.

Gel Timer Models:
- Gardner GT: Certified Standard Model Gel Timer is a simple device designed to determine gelation time for samples at ambient temperature. It delivers accurate and repeatable measurements of gel time applications for samples that are measured at ambient temperature.
- Gardner GT-H: Certified Heated Model Gel Timer delivers accurate and repeatable measurement of gelation time. It can be used for ambient temperature applications along with the added feature of a precision heating element that enables the user to accurately control temperature of a sample, the GT-H has a heating range from 51°C to 218°C.
