At ACHEMA, H2O will present the first VACUDEST wastewater treatment system with access to Industry 4.0.
H2O GmbH has announced that it will present its first VACUDEST wastewater treatment system with access to Industry 4.0 at the ACHEMA trade show, which will take place from 22 to 26 August 2022 in Frankfurt, Germany.
VACUDEST vacuum distillation systems, developed by H2O, ensure the safe separation of substances present in wastewater from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. This new version of the system responds to the new market challenges that require more digitization and automation.
The VACUDEST system with the new "Smart Service Cockpits" provides users with a new quality of process monitoring for wastewater treatment
directly on the machine control.
Industry 4.0 and IIoT processes in VACUDEST vacuum distillation systems allows users to get an overview of water treatment performances. Furthermore, through permanent condition monitoring and continuous optimization suggestions, long-lasting high system availability with maximum machine efficiency and reduced downtime can be achieved through predictive maintenance.
How does VACUDEST work?
Vacuum distillation systems use the principle of physical substance separation according to boiling point differences. This means that different substances can be safely separated thanks to innovative technologies from H2O such as the Clearcat condensation stage.
Thus, in one treatment phase, up to 98% reusable water is produced from 100% wastewater, which can be used for example for rinsing production plants.
H2O GmbH will present VACUDEST at ACHEMA (Hall 9.1, Stand D21).
