New mixing and dosing unit for Protective Coating.
With the PROTEC product family, WAGNER offers customized solutions specially tailored to the requirements of applications in heavy-duty corrosion protection. Especially the precise dosing and mixing of components with an increasing solids content makes highest demands on application technology.
Exactly for this purpose, the new mixing and dosing unit WAGNER PROTEC 2K was developed. It automatically determines the correct mixing ratio and thus guarantees the best possible coating quality. As only the exact amount of required material is mixed, you not only save time, but also material. In case of a longer interruption of work, it's not necessary to flush the entire system, but only those parts that contain mixed material (mixing block, material hose, spray gun) – this also drastically lowers your solvent consumption. Two large hoppers and the large intake valves ensure a constant and reliable material supply. The WAGNER PROTEC 2K is also powerful even with high viscosity materials and large flow rate for high layer thicknesses. At the same time it's extremely user-friendly, similar to a normal 1K piston pump.
The unit is available in four variants with the preset mixing ratios 4:1, 3:1, 2:1 or 1:1 and is the ideal system for most commercially available coating materials. If a material change requires a different mixing ratio, the fluid section can be easily replaced. Besides, you can choose from a range of accessories for the WAGNER PROTEC 2K – e.g. heater sets for use with the A or B component, heated tanks to make extremely high viscosity material workable, and the robust airless manual gun WAGNER PROTEC GM 1 as part of the PROTEC product family.
