now forms the foundation of Origine’s new production processes, including the LY109002 HYDROPUR PRIMER, followed by Hydro base for pastel and metallic finishes. The final step involves applying either the glossy L0YD0150 HYDROCRYL CLEAR 2K GRIP or the matte L0YD0855 MOTIVE WB 20 GLOSSY CLEARCOAT to ensure a durable, high-performance finish. Lechler’s cutting-edge water-based solutions have made it the exclusive supplier for Origine’s coatings - allowing the company to meet both its environmental and aesthetic goals.
In a similar pursuit of sustainability, Exenia, an Italian company specialising in LED lighting fixtures, has also chosen Lechler’s water-based products for its successful Willy collection of pendant lights. Exenia’s lamps are designed for a variety of installations, including residential, commercial, museum, and showroom applications. The collaboration between Exenia and Lechler has flourished over the years, driven by a shared commitment to quality, design, and sustainability.
The latest models of the Willy collection feature a striking matte finish on the outer body and decorative ring, made from ABS. This design was made possible by the use of Lechler’s YD204 Hydroplast Matt Enamel, a water-based product known for its extreme opacity and excellent adhesion to materials such as ABS, PC, and PVC. The successful partnership between Exenia and Lechler underscores the versatility of water-based solutions in the lighting industry, where sustainability and innovation go hand in hand.
