Plasmatreat will showcase its targeted, environmentally-friendly and efficient plasma systems to improve industrial processes at the trade fair Fakuma.
Plasmatreat
GmbH has recently announced that it will demonstrate the efficiency of its environmentally-friendly and efficient technologies at Fakuma
(Hall A1 - Stand 1210), the international trade fair dedicated to plastic processing that will take place from 17th to 21st
October 2023 in Friedrichshafen (Germany). The global developer and manufacturer of atmospheric plasma systems for the pre-treatment of plastic, metal, glass and paper substrate surfaces will allow visitors to experience the industrial use of plasma technology in order to modify the properties of the surface in favour of the process requirements.
Among the other solutions, the company will present its Openair-Plasma® technology, which is employed in automated and continuous manufacturing processes for the automotive, electronics, transportation, packaging, medical and consumer goods industries to significantly improve coating, bonding, printing and sealing processes.
Furthermore, Plasmatreat will showcase a joint project destined to the pre-treatment and over-moulding of printed circuit boards using injection moulding, in which the electronic components are first subjected to gentle ultra-fine cleaning with Openair-Plasma, then coated with an adhesion-promoting layer using the special PlasmaPlus process and finally over-moulded with a temperature-resistant thermoset in an injection moulding system.
