Sika has divested its European industrial coatings business line for €200 million.
Sika, a specialty chemicals company specialised in the development and production of solutions for the bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection for the construction and motor vehicle industries, has recently announced that it has completed the divestment of the business line dedicated to the European industrial coatings.
The sales agreement, announced during August 2021, generated €200 million. The final effect on the financial statements will be presented in the half-year report, which is expected to be published by Sika on 22nd July 2022.
