Arkema has joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a Network Member to strengthen its commitment and accelerate its transition to a circular economy.

Arkema has joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Network to progress towards a more circular business, working with other network organisations to drive industry-wide change.

“Through this commitment Arkema will contribute more actively to the transformation of value chains towards circular business models, which will keep products in use longer and reduce waste", has stated Emmanuelle BROMET, Vice-President Sustainable Development at Arkema.

Moreover, Arkema continues to advance circular solutions, making yearly progress. In 2024:

  • The ZEBRA project achieved a breakthrough in fully recycling thermoplastic wind turbine blades using Elium® resin and Bostik’s adhesive.
  • Agiplast, its recycling center in Italy, mechanically recycles high-performance polymers (PA11, PA12, PEBAX, PVDF) through the Virtucycle® program.
  • The Kynar Aquatec® PVDF range earned the 'Solar Impulse Efficient Solution' label for durable cool roof solutions lasting 300-400% longer and reducing VOC emissions by 90%.
  • Arkema remains committed to sustainability by reducing energy and water consumption, promoting renewables, preserving resources, and protecting biodiversity.
