Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will market the CASE products of Scott Bader across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The international distributor of specialty chemical product Biesterfeld Spezialchemie
and the UK-based manufacturer Scott Bader have jointly announced that the companies have entered into a new distribution partnership: Biesterfeld will market the composites, functional polymers, resins, gelcoats and acrylic dispersions for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) of the British company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“The alignment between the two companies was clear from the start. As a long-standing, family-owned business with like-minded values the partnership makes perfect sense in terms of their capability and moral commitment. We have every confidence that Biesterfeld Spezialchemie can impeccably represent Scott Bader’s interests in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and look forward to leveraging their connections on the ground,” has stated Marie Elliot, the sales and marketing director of Scott Bader.
The employee-owned organisation Scott Bader is operational since more than a century, benefits from a strong family influence and is extremely scrupulous in building its network, as it wants any new arrangements to reflect a similar sustainability stance, code of practice and shared values. In addition to meeting these requirements, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie offers also an extensive market knowledge and tailor-made and application-based technical advice service.
“We are very excited about the new collaboration with Scott Bader. The products from Scott Bader complement our portfolio very well and allow us even more scope and possibilities,” has declared Saadet Bozat, the product manager of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie.
More specifically, Biesterfeld will distribute Texipol rheology modifiers, Crestacryl solvent acrylic and alkyd resins, Texicryl acrylic dispersions, the premium Crestafire FST resins, Crestapol urethane acrylate resins, as well as the Crystic resins and gelcoats, Crestomer urethane acrylate structural adhesives and Crestafix bonding pastes.
“We're thrilled to offer the exceptional composites portfolio of Scott Bader, that features top-of-the-line polyester resins, gelcoats and adhesives that are specifically designed for the marine and railway industries, among others. Their unique fire, smoke and toxicity fume (FST) system Crestafire, for example, sets them apart in the rail industry, providing added safety and reliability to our customers,” has also added Johannes Martin, the product manager of the Biesterfeld Group.
