Datacolor’s ColorReader and Samplize paint samples will allow customers to simplify the entire paint selection process.
The global supplier of colour management solutions Datacolor® has recently announced a partnership with Samplize, a manufacturer of peel-and-stick paint samples. The collaboration will allow customers to access a wide range of products, such as the ColorReader devices (ColorReader Pro, ColorReader and ColorReader EZ) and the ColorReader app, that can assist throughout the entire paint selection process, from capturing colour inspiration to paint colour matching and the purchase of peel-and-stick paint samples.
Unlike other peel-and-stick-options available in the market, the paint samples provided by Samplize are actually made with the manufacturer’s paint and not a printed colour sample. The samples, which are re-positionable, are 12” X 12” squares, hand painted with two coats. The size of the samples allows to wrap them around corners to help see colour samples in different lighting conditions.
Datacolor’s ColorReader devices are the first to offer Samplize peel-and-stick paint samples through an app. It simplifies and facilitate the selection of paints and becomes a cost and time-saving tool, as users won’t need to prepare paints, mix them and clean up after the traditional paint colour sampling process
