The German engineering company Dürr
has recently presented EcoSupply2 Core, its new modular paint supply station
that integrates all the necessary components into a compact design delivering time savings on engineering, assembly, commissioning and documentation. The space-saving and easy-to-use system – which is then ideal for all industrial applications where painting operations happens in a confined space – is certified for the European, US and Asian market.
The EcoSupply2 Core system combines multiple products, such as an agitator, pumps or pressure tanks that transport the paint, filters for material purification and pressure controllers. EcoSupply2 Core is also available in several different versions. As a matter of fact, it is possible to choose between a diaphragm pump for the low-pressure range or a piston pump for pressures up to 300 bar as the centre component of the station, according to specific application technology and the paint type being used. Moreover, the end-client can select a number flow and return regulators tailored to various flow rates and pressure ranges compatible with the pumps.
In addition, users can add other components as extras such as an agitator, a lifter to raise the pump for changing the paint container and sensors to display the fill level in the paint drum. Until now, the integrator had to document both stages. However, this requirement is no longer necessary, since Dürr provides a declaration of conformity guaranteeing that EcoSupply2 Core has undergone a technical inspection. So, the new system reduces the workload for integrators, since the system only requires bolting to the ground and commissioning before use.
