Gema held a ground-breaking ceremony for the new company’s headquarters in Gossau.
Gema has recently started working on the new building that will host the company’s headquarters in the Sommerau area, Gossau, Switzerland.
The new facility, which is set to be completed in summer 2024, will cover an area of 20.000 m2 and feature production and office space and a contemporary high-bay warehouse. The production area will be increased compared to the current location and all assembly groups, which are currently distributed externally over various locations, will be reunited under one roof.
The new site will also feature a modern test and application laboratory, equipped with four state-of-the-art coating lines, that will allow Gema to carry out coating trials for its global customers even more efficiently and practically.
“With the new building, Gema is not only well equipped for further growth, but also offers very attractive working conditions with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and optimal connections”, stated the company.
