LANXESS has stated that it will raise the prices of its inorganic pigments globally.
Specialty chemical company LANXESS
has announced the price increase of its inorganic pigments worldwide with immediate effect. Prices for iron oxide pigments will be increased by a minimum of EUR 200 per metric ton, for chromium oxide pigments by a minimum of EUR 300 per metric ton, and for ferrites by a minimum of EUR 250 per metric ton - or their equivalent in local currency.
These products have a history dating back many decades as colorants for building materials, paints and coatings, plastics, paper and other applications.
Based on the destination, LANXESS will also charge an additional fee to cover the increasing transportation costs. Customers will be informed individually as to how it applies to their products.
