The operation strengthens the strategic role of the Metalcoat, projecting the company towards a sustainable growth based on innovation and territorial roots.

Metalcoat has recently announced the acquisition of the property that houses its production lines in Ascoli Piceno (Italy), acquired last autumn. The site extends over 110,000 m² in a primary industrial area, home to renowned international brands in the pharmaceutical and food sectors. In addition to the existing buildings, which include an office structure and a production facility, the acquisition includes a large building area, which opens up new possibilities for development and expansions.

At the same time, Metalcoat has launched an ambitious technological innovation programme. Among the main projects there is also the development of two new painting lines capable of eliminating downtime between orders, eliminating colour change times. This technological advancement not only reduces operating costs, but also minimises environmental impact, positioning the company at the top of industrial efficiency.

“The acquisition of the Ascoli Piceno production site is a strategic operation, that underlines our commitment to the local territory and our desire to continue growing as a group. This project not only allows us to consolidate our local presence, but also projects us towards sustainable growth at an international level,” has stated Matteo Trombetta Cappellani, President and CEO of Metalcoat.

Metalcoat, together with Alusteel Coating, Alpine Anodizing and Aleu, is a reference in Europe for the production and commercialisation of pre-painted and anodised aluminium and pre-painted steel. These Italian companies are able to respond to requests for painting semi-finished products for sectors such as the construction, maritime, automotive and general industry. Located in Bergamo, Ascoli Piceno, Somaglia (Lodi), Cologno al Serio (Bergamo) and Gallarate (Varese), the companies of the group employ approximately 100 collaborators.
