The British event dedicated to railway equipment, systems and services welcomed 17% more visitors than Railtex 2022.
The organisers of Railtex
2023 have recently announced that the trade fair dedicated to equipment, systems, technologies and services for the international railway industry welcomed 160 exhibitors and over 2,600 visitors, a 17% increase compared to the previous edition.
During the event, which was held from 9th to 11th May in Birmingham, attendees had the opportunity to experience the latest innovations, products and services related to railway civil engineering, rolling stock manufacturing, plant machinery, monitoring and testing systems, safety and security systems and signalling and communications devices.
“It was a very good and valuable three-day event filled with innovative product showcases, learning opportunities and plenty of business conversations. We would like to thank all our partners, exhibitors and visitors who helped make this show possible. We are delighted to see such a positive turnout of the show! Both exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied, as they either reconnected with existing contacts or established new business relations,” has stated Nicola Hamann, the managing director of RX, the business organising the trade fair.
The key topics faced during Railtex 2023 included decarbonisation, international growth, innovation and sustainability, analysed also in panel discussions, presentations and at the Innovation Village, which welcomed a different railway client each day in order to showcase innovative solutions.

The next edition of Railtex will take place from 13th to 15th May 2025 at the NEC Birmingham (United Kingdom).
