The newly created PPG operations organisation will be led by Ram Vadlamannati.
At the beginning of 2023, PPG has announced several leadership appointments effective immediately that will constitute the new operations organisation of the company, which will encompass supply chain, operational excellence, manufacturing operations, procurement and environment, health and safety functions.
Ram Vadlamannati, the current senior vice-president of the protective and marine coatings (PMC) division and president of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, will maintain the executive oversight accountability for the latter role while also transitioning to lead the newly created organisation. He will directly report to Tim Knavish, president and CEO of PPG.
Amy Ericson will assume the executive oversight accountability for the Latin America region and also succeed Vadlamannati as senior vice-president of the PMC division, while also maintaining her role as senior vice-president of the packaging coatings segment on an interim basis
The vice-president of global industrial coatings and interim industrial segment leader Kevin Braun will assume executive oversight responsibility for: global automotive coatings, specialty coatings and materials and packaging coatings. Finally, Chancey Hagerty will assume executive oversight accountability for the Asia-Pacific region
